Our moderators are readers just like you. They are volunteers who give up a little of their time to create great book discussions for all of us to enjoy. All of the moderators are or have been members of other clubs and enjoyed the experience so much that they wanted to lead a book discussion. If you are already a member of The Reading Lounge, click on the login link at the top right of the screen. You can enter the site by typing your username and password in the appropriate fields.

If you are not currently a member of The Reading Lounge, follow this link and complete the form to create a book club account.

If you are already a member of The Reading Lounge, first log in to the website. Then browse our Featured Clubs and Upcoming Clubs. If you see a book that you would like to discuss, click 'Join'. You will automatically be added to the club.

If you are not currently a member of The Reading Lounge, browse our Featured Clubs and Upcoming Clubs. If you see a book that you would like to discuss, click 'Join'. You will be instructed to create a book club account. Once your account is created, you will be added to the club.

After you login, click on 'My Book Clubs' in the Members sidebar. Find the particular book which you want to discuss and click on the link labeled 'Go to the Discussion'. This will bring you to a page showing the current assignment that was chosen by the moderator.

Under the current assignment is a list of each of the topics that your moderator has created for this reading assignment. Pick the topic you wish to discuss and click on the link labeled 'Discuss'. This will bring you to the current discussion showing the responses of other members to the moderator's topic. You may choose to reply to either the moderator's topic, or to any other member's responses by clicking on the

After you login, click on 'Other Members' in the Members sidebar. Search for users by selecting the appropriate information from the drop down boxes. Click on the username of the member that you want to contact. Then click 'Send a Message'. A message field will appear. Type your message and click 'Send'. Your message will be sent to the member's email address.
